Dani Ford

Hello! I'm Dani Ford, and I'm excited to be back coaching the team that helped shape my love for swimming. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Mathematics from California State University, San Bernardino, and I received my teaching credential and Master's degree at the University of Redlands.

Swimming has been a part of my life for over 12 years. I started in the Redlands Swim Team's Learn to Swim program as a child and joined the team at age 8. I swam all four years on the varsity team at Redlands High School, serving as captain during my senior year. After turning 18, I transitioned from competitive swimming to coaching. I began coaching for the Redlands Swim Team right after my final meet, and soon after, I also took on the role of JV coach at Redlands East Valley High School. The following year, I became the varsity head coach for REVS, but unfortunately, my season was cut short due to the pandemic. After taking a brief break from coaching to relocate out of state, I'm thrilled to be back on deck at Redlands Swim Team. RST has always felt like home to me, and I'm beyond excited to return to coaching and share my passion for the sport with the next generation of swimmers.
